Diga Diga Doo by Bob Thompson with His Orchestra and Chorus

From 1959, this tune is one of the greatest songs known to man. You can see this song seriously influencing bands like They Might Be Giants...don't you think? Anyway, I hope you enjoy this track as much as I did.        Photography by Nick Brandt.

Shackles and Chains by Arlo Guthrie

This is my favorite tune off Arlo's 1972 Hobo's Lullaby album.   I've added the photography of Patricia S. Levey to enhance this song. It may be offensive to some viewers...just wanted to warn you.

Out Of This World by Les Baxter

A killer tune taken from his Caribbean Moonlight album...a very fine record and one that I highly recommend that you locate and either purchase or download. Les Baxter rules.      Photography by Sebastiao Salgado.

Cobwebs And Strange by The Who

This Who tune was written by drummer Keith Moon...an instrumental that really rocks. Click the play button and watch the fun pictures pass by your eyes and let the music please your ears.
This was taken from the album A Quick One...a really fantastic record.

Athena by The Who

From the album It's Hard released in 1982. This is the opening number and first single. A great tune and this rip was taken from my 45.
I've added some Athena's for your viewing pleasure.
Enjoy.

This Magic (A Poem)

This magic
Parades nude
With only Christmas bells
On the ten tapping toes
Painted a lovely shade of peach

Climbing up chalk hills
…leaving behind little soft reminders
She reaches the top
And calls out with a graceful yodel
Which echoes silver in the frosty air
And I can now hear her
Clear
For the first time
As silent crowds gather at the
Foot of the mountain
With mouths agape
And fingers pointed
Up

This dear girl
Can really
Bring it home
And standing on top of the world
Confessing her true love ways
She is all licorice and giggles
Which leaves me
Bending at the waist
Laughing
Uproariously

If I didn’t
Fear the heights
I’d
Be along side of her now
Shouting out
But I am lowered down on the bed
Alone
Simply looking
Skyward

This magic
Frivolous affair
Has got me smiling
Ear to ear
As she begins her gentle descent
Back home to me
Where sex will be number one on the long list
Of things to do
Now that she has returned from
The hike to end all hikes
And I’ll melt by her frigid feet
Reading her love notes
And couplets of joy

This is fine
This is good
And I will sleep inside of her
With a grin and popcorn warmth

Magic…a man can live his whole life
In this delightful cocoon
And Lord knows
I will
Not leave her side again

I will tend to her
(I’ll say it again)
I will tend to her
And I am out of my tree
Probably but
She just blows me raspberries
With a wink and a tossing of her hair

Magic again

Take Out The Trash by They Might Be Giants

Celebrating the release of the new TMBG's record I am putting this tune up. Photos stolen from awkwardfamilyphotos.com ...a dandy of a website and one you should seriously visit after leaving here. Anyway, the new TMBG's album is called Join Us and will be released on the 19th of July. I pre-ordered the vinyl and cannot wait to get my hands on it.  They/Giants have never disappointed me with their albums and I bet this one will rule. So...go and order it for yourself and you'll see why they will someday rule the world.
