He Was Big (A Poem)

I love the Pixies. My friend Adam introduced them to me in the early 90’s and I was blown away by their greatness. I had the chance to see them live during their Trompe Le Monde tour with another pal, Robert. They rocked harder than any band I had ever seen and we had a perfect night with the four of those Pixies on stage and my pal and I loaded up on beer and happiness.       This is a poem about their lead singer and main man Black Francis who is also known as Frank Black when he split the band and went solo.   This poem can be found in my new book Dead Hip.
