In the winter of 2000 I stumbled upon the White Stripes. This tune that I’m putting up here was the first song I ever heard of theirs and it knocked me out. The title intrigued me and I went and downloaded it from Napster. It was so beautiful and right on the money that I went out and picked up the album De Stijl the next day and was once again blown away from the first song to the last. So, if you dig this song then you’ll certainly enjoy the rest of the record which rocks pretty hard and rocks pretty soft when it wants to as well.
